Easter Sunrise Service

Our Easter sunrise service will begin at 7:30 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery on Deans Bridge Road in South Augusta. Following the morning service, we will meet back at the church for a breakfast at 8:30 a.m., continuing with our regular Sunday school and church times. Please invite your friends and join us in celebrating this special time worshiping Christ.

Community Cross Walk

The annual Community Cross Walk will be held on Good Friday, April 6th at 10:00 a.m. The walk will begin at Burns United Methodist Church at 2372 Lumpkin Road and continue throughout South Augusta neighborhoods and churches, ending with the Stations of the Cross at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 2607 Lumpkin Road. Please join us in this public profession of faith. Last year we were nearly 500 strong. Let’s surpass that this year!

Easter Cantata

The sanctuary choir will present this year’s Easter Cantata on April 1st at 11:00 a.m. Please join us as we celebrate the resurrection of Christ.

Youth BBQ Lunch fundraiser

The youth will be hosting a spring fundraiser on Sunday April 15th after the morning service. BBQ will be served and funds will go towards summer youth trips.

Cost is:
$8 per adult; $4 children (10 and under)
$20 max per immediate family
Pay at the door.

You may also order BBQ by the pound to pick up on Sunday, April 15th. BBQ is $8 per pound. Signuup sheet is on the bulletin board across from the church office. Pay when you pick up.

Financial Peace begining Feb. 6

Join us as we study how to get ourselves on track with money and see what God has to say about it through Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. The 13 week class will begin on Feb. 6 at 6:30 p.m. The cost for materials is $75. Some scholarships are available. Call the church office to sign up.
